People call me Danielle or Dani. In 2005 our family moved from Florida back to Minnesota. My husband Adam and I are originally from Austin, MN. After I graduated from College in 2002 we ventured to Fort Myers, Florida to expand our horizons. Down there I spent one year subbing and 2 years teaching an all day everyday Kindergarten at Bonita Springs Charter School. I loved teaching the little ones! On June 28th, 2005 our beautiful daughter Brielle was born. We decided it was very important to raise her close to her grandparents and other family members- so we packed our bags and headed back to Minnesota. (I still hold Florida close to my heart.) Now that I am a mommy I have decided I want to stay home with my daughter and now son. (Reid was welcomed into our family in Sept. of 2007) Yet, I do not want to miss out on my other love- working with young children. So I decided to start my own "Education Based Child Care."
We are conviently located in SW Rochester in a nice, quiet neighborhood across from Old Navy/ Kohls.
I believe it is very important to have quality structured care for children . A place to play, yet learn at the same time. At Creative Corner we will focus on learning while having fun. As a previous Kindergarten teacher I feel that I have the knowledge and training to help preschool children get ready for the most important year of their life.
I am also very honest and open and feel that I am easy to communicate with. If a problem arises I want you to feel able to approach me. I understand that communication is key!
